West Ham United left-back Razvan Rat has urged his side to come up with a positive result in their upcoming away clash against Fulham today.

The Hammers, who drew 3-3 with West Bromwich Albion at the weekend, are currently languishing in 19th place in the Premier League standings with 15 points from 19 outings, just a point and a place behind the Cottagers.

And Rat, who understands that West Ham are in great need of points, wants his side to take home a decent result from Craven Cottage.

The defender further added that he is trying to adapt to playing three games in a week, with the Romanian international already featuring against Arsenal and West Brom on Boxing Day and Saturday respectively.

"We need a good result against Fulham because we really need points”, Rat explained to his club’s official site.

“It's true that it's very close and we've had three games in a week, but I'm trying to adapt and I will do my best."

Rat, who joined West Ham from Shakhtar Donetsk during the summer transfer window, has thus far made 15 appearances in all competitions for the club.
