Former United States and Egypt Coach Bob Bradley Appointed Stabaek Boss

Friday, 3rd January, 2014

Norwegian side Stabaek have appointed former United States and Egypt coach Bob Bradley as their new manager.

Stabaek gained promotion to the Norwegian top flight by finishing as runners-up in the second tier last season and will now count on Bradley to ensure they do not suffer a quick relegation in 2014.

The American coach has been quick to express his delight at the move and insists he knows much about his new club.

"I know a lot about Stabaek", Bradley told his new club's site.

"When you have a team that starts in the fourth or fifth league and sets the goal that it will win the cup, and you dare to dream.

"Life is about challenging yourself in these ways.

"To make it all work we need to make sure we're in it together. The club has people who support it at all levels.

"I have a sense that this is what the club is all about and I'm really excited to be part of it."
