Serie A side Genoa have made an offer to Sunderland for midfielder Cabral.
The 25-year-old has failed to cement a regular spot with the Black Cats since joining the club earlier this year from Swiss Super League giants Basel.
Indeed, Cabral has managed only 90 minutes of Premier League football all season and the 25-year-old could be in line to leave the Stadium of Light.
According to Sky Italia, Genoa have offered to take Cabral on loan until the end of the season, with the club holding an option to make that permanent if the midfielder impresses.
