Marseille are aiming to sign out-of-favour Inter full-back Alvaro Pereira on loan.

Funds are limited at the Stade Velodrome, ruling out a permanent transfer, however the Ligue 1 outfit believe they have every chance of bagging the Uruguayan.

And so, according to La Provence, Marseille are moving to take the full-back on loan until the end of the current campaign.

Pereira is firmly out of Inter coach Walter Mazzarri's plans, although the Nerazzurri have been looking to sell the former FC Porto player.

It remains to be seen whether they will consider loaning him out, but capturing Pereira would be seen as a coup for Marseille.

The 28-year-old has started just two Serie A games so far this season for Inter.

His contract at the San Siro runs until 2016.
