Arsenal midfielder Francis Coquelin may head back to England earlier than expected, following interest from a number of clubs in the player.

Coquelin is currently on a season-long loan in the Bundesliga with Freiburg, but has not played consistently, while when he has been fielded it has often been in unusual positions.

Given this, according to French sports daily L'Equipe, Coquelin could end his loan at Freiburg early and move on to pastures new this month.

Indeed, several English clubs are tracking developments and would be willing to take over Coquelin's loan.
