Napoli have won the race for Hellas Verona midfielder Jorginho, with the player now in the process of ironing out the final details of the switch, according to Sky Italia.

Rafael Benitez's men have moved quickly to sign the Brazil-born youngster, amid interest from Liverpool and Fiorentina in his services.

Napoli are taking 50% of the player's rights and will hold the option to snap up the remaining 50% over the next 18 months.

The final stages of the deal may take some time, but Benitez is expecting to be able to welcome Jorginho to Napoli training imminently.

Jorginho has enjoyed a superb season with Verona so far, producing performances which have had scouts flocking to watch him.

He has also been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea, Juventus and Inter.

Napoli will no doubt consider it a coup to have snapped up Jorginho.
