Lucas Moura won't be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this month despite speculated interest from Manchester United, his agent has claimed.

Manchester United very publicly missed out on the Brazilian in the summer of 2012, with PSG making a big-money bid to trump the English giants.

Moura duly arrived in the French capital in January 2013, after being allowed to complete the season in Brazil with Sao Paulo.

The speedy winger has seen his performances at PSG criticised though and has been perceived as failing to live up to expectations.

This term he has also struggled to cement a spot in the club's starting eleven, something which quickly led to talk of an exit.

But despite the Manchester United talk, Moura's agent Wagner Ribeiro insists his client won't be quitting the French champions.

"Lucas does not play as much as he'd like himself, but he always plays well in major competitions", Ribeiro explained to Globo Esporte.

"It is not an option for him to leave Paris, because he now almost has his place back."

Moura has started just nine Ligue 1 games so far this term, although in a total of 18 top flight appearances he has contributed a respectable six assists.
