La Liga side Sevilla have rejected a bid of €13m from Italian giants Napoli for left-back Alberto Moreno.

Napoli have been keen to sign the Spaniard and submitted the offer in the hope of snapping him up in this month's transfer window.

But according to the Diario de Sevilla, Los Rojiblancos have knocked back the €13m proposal and do not want to sell the 21-year-old, who is considered one of the club's most promising players.

Sevilla are in a strong position with Moreno, having him under contract until 2018 and with a release clause set at €30m.

Moreno is not short of suitors however.

In addition to Napoli, he has also been linked with Chelsea, Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid.

And it seems Sevilla may have a fight on their hands to keep hold of the defender long term.
