Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has admitted he could boss Ligue 1 outfit Monaco in the future, but only at the end of his career.

The Portuguese has won league titles in his native Portugal, England, Italy and Spain, and has often mused about adding the French crown to the list at some point.

Wealthy principality outfit Monaco, along with Paris Saint-Germain, present the two most obvious destinations. And Mourinho would be willing to consider Monaco – just not yet.

Asked about coaching Monaco by Canal +, Mourinho replied: "If I went to Monaco it would be at the end of my career."

Monaco, who splashed the cash to sign Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from Atletico Madrid last summer, are currently managed by former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri.

The 2004 Champions League finalists, beaten by Mourinho's FC Porto, currently sit second in Ligue 1 and five points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain.

They are on course to qualify for next season's Champions League.
