Inter Milan president Erick Thohir is a fan of Ajax coach Frank de Boer but is in no haste to show Walter Mazzarri the door just yet.
Thohir had already revealed today he would analyse Mazzarri's case towards the end of the season, with Inter currently fighting to make a Champions League spot.

It is looking a tall ask at present for Inter, who are 11 points behind third-placed Napoli, and five behind Fiorentina.
De Boer's name was somehow linked up today, with the Ajax boss currently keeping his side well on course for a title defence.

However, Thohir is keeping his loyalty cards close to his chest, telling Sportmediaset: "I admire [De Boer’s] work as Ajax coach.
"His is a trick that I like but that does not mean that I would like to bring him here. I'm happy with Mazzarri.
"He is one of the best coaches around and now it is important to support him and give him the utmost confidence.
"Any long-term projects with him, we will take step by step."
