Koke has dealt his suitors another blow by revealing he would be open to remaining with Atletico Madrid for the remainder of his career.

The highly-rated Spanish midfielder has been the subject of interest from Manchester United, Bayern Munich, AC Milan and Liverpool over the course of the current campaign.

Their hopes of tempting him away from the Vicente Calderon were hit in January when Koke put pen to paper on a new contract with a release clause of €60m.

And now the midfielder has suggested he might not ever move elsewhere, with Los Rojiblancos providing all he needs.

"Maybe [I’ll spend my whole career with Atletico Madrid], why not?" he told Minuto 116.

"I have a long contract, which I will complete, and Atleti is my home.

"We can do great things as a team and it's a really good project. Hopefully I can stay here for many years.

"This team are creating history and hopefully it will continue for many years. What we are achieving is really good."
