Ajax youth team coach Ronald de Boer admits he can certainly see something of Mesut Ozil in young Heerenveen midfielder Hakim Ziyech.

The starlet has been in outstanding form for Marco van Basten's men this term, earning comparisons with the Arsenal attacking midfielder, and causing many heads to be tilted in his direction.

But for Heerenveen, the chances of keeping hold of Ziyech are starting to look limited with no extension agreed to a contract which expires in 2015.

"If he leaves after this season, he has to go to one of the traditional top three teams, I think", De Boer told Voetbal International.

"At teams like PSV, Ajax and Feyenoord he will have the international spotlight on himself, the pressure will be higher and he won't have everything on his plate because there are other players with good quality", he continued.

"Of course, it also remains to be seen whether he can handle it. With any disappointment the pressure is much greater at those clubs than SC Heerenveen."

But De Boer is certainly a fan of the man who has been loading the ammo for prolific Heerenveen striker Alfred Finnbogason who, unsurprisingly, is also an admirer of the creative midfielder.

"The ball is glued to his foot", De Boer said.

"He is a similar type of player to Mesut Ozil."
