Hazard has also been tipped to reach the very top on an individual level too, with moving up alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi as the best player in the world a target which has been set for the forward.

But if it was a choice between team success and individual success, Hazard would always pick the collective.

"I'd rather win a major tournament with the national team and never win the Ballon d'Or", he told RED DH magazine.

"But I still hope that the same two events will occur", Hazard continued.

"Why not in the same year? If we win the World Cup, I might be more likely to pick up the Ballon d'Or."
