Sunderland striker Fabio Borini has admitted that the match against Liverpool will be tough one to watch for him.

The striker is ineligible to play against his parent club this evening and will only be a spectator at Anfield.

As the Black Cats battle for survival in the Premier League, being placed 18th with 25 points, the match is a crucial one for Gus Poyet and his team.

The 22-year-old admits that it is going to be one of the most "uncomfortable" matches to watch from the stands, as he would prefer to be on the pitch than watching on.

"It's going to be a difficult game to watch because obviously I want to be on the pitch", Borini told Liverpool's official site.

"When you're fit to play a game and you have to watch it rather than take part it's uncomfortable, because you can watch things happening but you're not in control of the situation."

As far as the action on the pitch is concerned, the youngster feels that it is going to be an open contest with the Reds trying to press the game from the start.

"I think it's going to be open.

"I think Liverpool will try to get into Sunderland straight from the kick-off, as they have done in most games this season pressing high in the opening 15 minutes with the quality they've got in the attack", Borini added.
