Aaron Hunt has rejected a final contract offer from Werder Bremen and is poised to join Besiktas despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Stoke City, according to German magazine Kicker.

Werder Bremen were keen to keep Hunt at the club, the attacking midfielder having been on the books for the last 13 years.

But Hunt, who made his debut for the club in 2004 against Borussia Monchengladbach, has decided to head to pastures new.

England was an option for Hunt, with Tottenham and Stoke firm fans, but it is Turkey which is set to attract the 27-year-old.
