Paris Saint-Germain forward Ezequiel Lavezzi is being actively monitored by Galatasaray manager Roberto Mancini according to Turkish daily Ulusalpost.

Lavezzi moved to PSG from Napoli in 2012. However, since PSG bought Edinson Cavani in 2013, Lavezzi’s starting spot has been under constant threat, especially with Zlatan Ibrahimovic already in the squad.

The Argentine is understood to be frustrated with the situation and the 28-year-old would like to have assurances about his place in Laurent Blanc’s side.

On the other hand, Galatasaray manager Mancini is keeping a close eye on the situation and will pounce for the forward if he becomes available in the summer.

The Italian is an admirer of Lavezzi and would like an option to add him to the Turkish champions’ squad.

With an ageing Didier Drogba, Mancini may see Lavezzi as a perfect long-term addition to the squad.

Lavezzi has made 25 appearances for PSG in Ligue 1 this season and in the process scored seven goals.
