Manchester United hold a keen interest in PSV Eindhoven right-back Santiago Arias.

Red Devils boss David Moyes is eyeing a major rebuilding project at Old Trafford, with the English champions likely to splash the cash in the summer transfer window.

According to Voetbal International, scouts from the club have made repeated trips to Holland to watch Arias in action for PSV.

They have been impressed with what they have seen from the Colombia international, with Moyes believed to be a firm fan of bringing the 22-year-old in.

The only question mark over a summer bid appears to be whether Moyes himself will still be in post this summer. If the Scot survives a poor debut campaign as Manchester United boss, a bid may well land in Eindhoven.

Arias joined PSV only last year, switching to the club from Sporting Lisbon.

The Colombian arrived as part of a double-deal, which also included Stijn Schaars, the total cost being €1.6m.
