Hamburg sporting director Oliver Kreuzer has categorically ruled out selling attacking midfield starlet Hakan Calhanoglu this summer.

Calhanoglu only recently extended his contract with the Bundesliga club until 2018, but that has not stopped Europe's giants queuing up to watch him in action.

Earlier this month Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers made a special trip to watch Calhanoglu play and score against Bayer Leverkusen, while Manchester City also had a scout at the match for the same game.

Calhanoglu has also been linked with Atletico Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester United.

But Kreuzer won't hear any sale talk, despite suggestions bids are being prepared.

The sporting director told the Hamburger Morgenpost: "We're not aware of it.

"Selling Hakan is not an option", he added.
