Montpellier midfielder Benjamin Stambouli is attracting serious interest from English Premier League duo Everton and Newcastle.
The 23-year-old is expected to quit the Stade de la Mosson this coming summer and is wanted by Ligue 1 sides Marseille, Lyon, Saint-Etienne and Nice.

But according to L'Equipe, Stambouli could end up plying his trade in England in 2014/15, as Everton and Newcastle show interest in acquiring him.
The midfielder is highly rated at Montpellier and has turned out in 32 of the club's 33 Ligue 1 games so far this season.

A former France Under-21 international, the defensive midfielder, who also operates in defence, is a product of Montpellier's youth system.
He broke through into the senior ranks in 2010 and helped the club to their shock 2011/12 Ligue 1 title win.
