Former Manchester United and Real Madrid striker Ruud van Nistelrooy, along with former Bayern Munich midfielder Mark van Bommel, will work on the coaching staff at PSV Eindhoven next season.

Both Van Nistelrooy and Van Bommel are embarking upon coaching careers and are keen to gain further experience.




According to the Algemeen Dagblad, the pair are set to pitch up at one of their old clubs in the shape of PSV Eindhoven, although they will work with different teams within the club.

Van Nistelrooy is set to work with Jong PSV coach Darije Kalezic, whose side compete in the Dutch second tier.

Van Bommel meanwhile is expected to join the coaching staff of senior team coach Phillip Cocu.

PSV Eindhoven currently sit in fifth place in the Eredivisie and are currently in the midst of a rebuilding process.

Jong PSV meanwhile are 12th in the Dutch Eerste Divisie.
