Manchester United manager David Moyes is continuing his scouting of potential transfer targets, having travelled to take in Wednesday's Portuguese cup clash between Benfica and FC Porto.

According to Portuguese daily A Bola, the Red Devils boss was in the stands watching on as Benfica ran out 3-1 winners at the Estadio da Luz.




Moyes is eyeing revamping his squad over the summer as he looks to put this season's disappointments behind him, with Manchester United staring at no Champions League football for the first time since 1995.

A number of talents were on display for the Manchester United boss to check on.

Benfica fielded Ezequiel Garay in the heart of defence, the centre-back having long been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

Highly-rated Serbian playmaker Lazar Markovic also turned out for Jorge Jesus' men, while prolific striker Lima played in attack.
