Norwich City caretaker manager Neil Adams has conceded that Liverpool are the best team in English football at present, but is not writing off his side's chances of springing a surprise on Sunday.

Liverpool travel to Carrow Road sitting on top of the league and knowing that winning their final four games would make them champions.

Norwich meanwhile are just two points clear of the relegation zone and desperate to steer clear of trouble.

But Adams feels the pressure is certainly all on Liverpool.

He told Norwich City TV: "They are the best team in the country at the minute on merit.

"They are at the top of the table. There's a little bit of pressure on them now, it's their title so to speak, it's theirs to lose.

"They know if they win all the games they've won it.

"And there's been such a long wait up there on Merseyside, it brings its own pressure."
