Olivier Giroud has dismissed rumours of him leaving Arsenal this summer and has said that he is happy and settled in London, and his future lies with the Gunners.

Giroud joined Arsenal from French outfit Montpellier in 2012 on a deal worth £9.6m and signed a five-year contract with the Gunners.

"My contract runs until 2016, of course I'll remain a Gunner next year, this is certainly my will”, the 27-year-old told French outlet Telefoot.

Giroud has categorically dismissed the media reports of him being unhappy in England and asked his supporters to ignore the rumours.

Giroud has scored 14 league goals for Arsenal this season in 33 appearances for the club.

Montpellier won their first league title in the club’s history in the 2011/12 campaign and Giroud was one of the main architects of their triumph with 21 league goals and nine assists, impressing Gunners boss Arsene Wenger enough that the Frenchman took him to the Emirates Stadium.
