Chelsea defender Gary Cahill has declared that his side will give their all to reach the final of the Champions League, following their goalless draw with Atletico Madrid in their semi-final first leg yesterday.

The Blues, who were playing with a defensive mindset, managed to keep the current La Liga leaders at bay despite losing Petr Cech and John Terry to injuries during the game at the Vicente Calderon.

However, Cahill insisted that Chelsea will play with a lot more attacking intent in the return leg on 30th April.

The England international is also certain about the club’s faithful lending their vociferous support at Stamford Bridge, as Chelsea are just a game away from a possible Champions League final.

“We are strong at home and I am sure we will be on the front foot in the next game”, Cahill told his club's official site.

“That might suit them too, as they like to play. We knew the atmosphere here was going to be great. I played here once before in my career and the atmosphere was special.

“I am sure our fans will produce the same in the second leg and get right behind us. We're one game away [from a possible final].

“It's a dream for them as they have never been there before [but] it's also a dream for us so we will be giving absolutely everything we've got.”
