Lazio do not intend to activate their purchase option on Chelsea forward Gael Kakuta, who has not impressed in the Italian capital.
Kakuta moved to Lazio on loan in January, with the Serie A side inserting an option to buy in the agreement with Chelsea.
However, according to Tutto Mercato, Lazio will ship Kakuta back to England after being unimpressed with his impact at the club.
The 22-year-old has clocked up just one Serie A appearance for the Rome club, coming off the bench for five minutes of action.

Kakuta had been on loan at Dutch outfit Vitesse during the first half of the current season, but opted to end his stint with the Arnhem-based side.
The Frenchman managed 12 appearances in the Eredivisie, scoring once in the process, although all 12 came from the bench.
His contract with Chelsea runs until 2015.
