Stephane Mbia has revealed interest from both Everton and Liverpool, but is not sure what the future has in store for him, with a stay at Sevilla still possible for the powerful midfielder.

The Cameroon international is on a season-long loan at Sevilla from English Championship outfit QPR and is thoroughly enjoying his stint in Spain, having helped Los Rojiblancos to book a Europa League final spot by scoring the goal against Valencia in the semi-final which sent the side to Turin.

"I'm very happy to have come, the club have given me a lot of confidence and my family is very happy here too. There is a possibility that I stay because my family is my priority", he explained to Estadio Deportivo.

"We must see how we finish in La Liga and after the final of the Europa League. My loan ends at the end of the season but it is still possible that I'll be here."

However, despite the midfielder's happiness in Spain, Sevilla face heavyweight opposition in their bid to retain Mbia's services.

"Playing in the Champions League, that's my goal", the former Marseille man admitted, addressing interest from the Merseyside duo.

"Liverpool are a great team that will play in the Champions League.

"Everton are also a great team, but I cannot say what will happen in the future."

Sevilla do have a purchase option included in their loan of Mbia, while the 27-year-old's contract with QPR is due to run until 2015.
