Hamburg striking starlet Pierre-Michel Lasogga is the subject of interest from three English Premier League clubs, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United.

Lasogga has seen his reputation enhanced this season during a loan spell from Hertha Berlin, despite Hamburg suffering a difficult campaign which leaves the club just two games away from potential relegation from the Bundesliga.

Having finished 16th in the German top flight, Hamburg must now lock horns with Greuther Furth in a two-legged playoff to survive.

Liverpool and Tottenham have both lodged enquiries about Lasogga, according to the Hamburger Morgenpost, while Newcastle have also joined the race, with Magpies boss Alan Pardew making him a priority target.

However, none of the interested parties have made any headway with Lasogga, who will not discuss a potential departure from Hamburg until the club's fate is clear, determined to remain focused on helping the club avoid the drop.

The striker has scored 13 goals in 20 Bundesliga games for Hamburg so far this season and his loan at the club is due to expire at the end of the campaign.

Lasogga's contract with Hertha Berlin runs until 2015, but he is expected to be on the move this summer due to not seeing eye-to-eye with the club's coach Jos Luhukay.
