Sevilla have not given up hope of persuading Ivan Rakitic to sign a new contract at the club.

The Croatian midfielder, who helped Los Rojiblancos to win the Europa League this season, is coming to the end of his contract and will have no shortage of options if he wishes to head elsewhere.

Several sides have been linked with Rakitic, including Real Madrid, Liverpool and Manchester United.

However, according to Tutto Mercato, Sevilla are still hopeful they will be able to keep the 26-year-old into next season.
