Henrik Larsson has done his best to distance himself from talk of succeeding Neil Lennon at Celtic, but admitted he does view himself as manager of the Scottish giants at some point in the future.

Larsson is a legend at Celtic, having scored 242 goals in 313 appearances for the Bhoys between 1997 and 2004.

The former Sweden striker picked up four Scottish titles at the club, along with two Scottish Cups and two Scottish League Cups.

Larsson, who is currently in charge of Swedish outfit Falkenbergs, has quickly been linked with taking over at Celtic in light of Lennon's departure earlier today.

"It is not true, because I have Falkenbergs. I'm totally into Falkenbergs now and I have my full focus on that and nothing else", Larsson explained to GT.

However, the 42-year-old is sure that he will find himself in the dugout at Paradise at some point in his managerial career.

"I can understand that it is always a job that will be associated with me after my years as a player there and then as I started as a coach.

"Sure, I can see myself as manager of Celtic and going there in the future.

"But right now my full focus is on Falkenbergs and the job of remaining in the Allsvenskan."

Larsson led Falkenbergs to promotion to the Swedish top flight last season and current has the club sitting 11th in the 16-team league after ten games.
