Espanyol are interested in signing former Liverpool forward Dani Pacheco from Spanish second tier side Alcorcon this summer.

Pacheco joined Liverpool’s academy in 2007 from Barcelona’s La Masia and made his first team debut in 2009 against Fiorentina in a Champions League fixture.

The Spaniard spent time on loan from Liverpool at a number of clubs such as Norwich City, Atletico Madrid, Rayo Vallecano and Huesca.

The 23-year-old joined Alcorcon on a permanent deal last summer, after only making five league appearances for the Reds.
