Juventus believe that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder and Arsenal target Adrien Rabiot can become the long-term successor to Andrea Pirlo in Turin.

Pirlo signed a two-year extension with the Bianconeri yesterday, but the club hierarchy know that they will have to look for a replacement for the 35-year-old midfielder in the near future.

Rabiot’s name has cropped up in the discussions and Juventus are closely looking at the possibility of bringing the young French midfielder to Turin this summer, according to Tuttosport.

Rabiot has only one year left on his contract, therefore the Old Lady may not have to fork out a huge amount as a transfer fee to sign him.

Juventus will face stiff competition from Arsenal as Arsene Wenger is also very interested in the Frenchman and is closely monitoring proceedings in Paris.
