Dan Petrescu, the manager of Qatari outfit Al Arabi, has claimed that Barcelona’s Xavi has signed a pre-contract with the club.

Xavi, who is currently with the Spain national team in Brazil, is one of the stars of the famous Barcelona midfield.

The Spaniard is a product of Barcelona’s famous youth academy, La Masia. He made his debut for the club against Mallorca in the Super Cup final in 1998.

However, Xavi is all set to end his long association with the Blaugrana and move to Qatar this summer.

Al Arabi’s manager Petrescu has confirmed that the World Cup winner has agreed a deal to join the Qatari outfit.
