Valencia are keen on snapping up Chelsea starlet Thorgan Hazard this summer, as they flex their financial muscles following the takeover of the club by billionaire Peter Lim.

The Singaporean businessman, who has an estimated wealth of $1.5 billion, recently took control at the Mestalla and is eyeing turning Valencia into La Liga title challengers.




According to Spanish daily Marca, Hazard is in Valencia's sights, with the club preparing a move for the Belgian.

Thorgan, brother of Chelsea star Eden, has spent the last two seasons on loan at Belgian side Zulte Waregem.

 


However, after impressing in Belgium, Thorgan wants to cut his teeth in a bigger league, something which may lead to his departure from Chelsea this summer.

It is thought Blues boss Jose Mourinho is not yet ready to hand the Belgian a first team spot, which could see another loan or even a permanent switch on the cards.

And the attacking midfielder may be attracted to the chance of joining Valencia.
