La Liga outfit Espanyol want to raise at least €10m from the sale of Mexican defender Hector Moreno, if he departs the club this summer.

The 26-year-old, who Espanyol snapped up from Dutch outfit AZ Alkmaar in 2011, has further enhanced his reputation in the Spanish top flight.

Moreno, who has been linked with both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, is currently at the World Cup as part of the Mexico squad and has appeared in both his country's group stage games so far, a narrow win over Croatia and a 0-0 draw with hosts Brazil.

According to Spanish daily Marca, Espanyol are hoping to realise a price of at least €10m if they sell the Mexican this summer.

Moreno made 32 appearances for Espanyol in La Liga last term, becoming a fixture in the side's backline.
