Paris Saint-Germain and Uruguay forward Edinson Cavani has revealed that he is not aware of any interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.

Los Blancos are on the lookout for new striking options to add to their strength up front next season.

And the 27-year-old is being seen as one of the possible options that manager Carlo Ancelotti might ponder.

"You never know what's going to happen in football," Cavani was quoted as saying by Spanish daily Marca.

"But I'm not aware of interest from Real Madrid"

The former Napoli striker has also been heavily linked with a move to Premier League outfit Manchester United, with the side mooted as being prepared to make a €70m bid for the player.

Cavani is currently part of the Uruguay squad in Brazil and will be looking to contribute to his team's cause when they take on Italy for a spot in the Round of 16 on 24th June.
