Juventus are ready to throw Fernando Llorente into their bid for Alexis Sanchez in order to tilt the scales in their favour.

The Barcelona forward is wanted by Liverpool and the Catalan giants are considering whether to cash in on the former Udinese man this summer.

Juventus are fearful of being muscled out of the race to sign the Chile international and are aiming to convince Barcelona to favour their bid by throwing Llorente into the mix, according to Italian daily Tuttosport.

The Blaugrana are looking for a number 9 to offer another option in attack and may be tempted by the former Athletic Bilbao man.

Llorente moved to Juventus from Athletic Bilbao last summer following the expiration of his contract at the San Mames.

He struggled to carve out a starting spot at Juventus initially, but eventually ended the campaign with 34 Serie A appearances and 16 goals to his name.

Juventus hope inserting Llorente into a deal for Sanchez will see Barcelona agree to lower their €25m asking price.
