Mario Balotelli's agent has denied meeting with Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger over a move for his client to the Emirates Stadium, but has opened the door for discussions with AC Milan over the player's future.

The former Manchester City striker has been strongly linked with Arsenal this summer, though Wenger has played down being interested in signing him.

Milan have appeared open to doing a deal though, with the club's managing director Barbara Berlusconi explaining that for her, no one is irreplaceable. And that suggestion has been met head on by the striker's representative.

"It's important for Balotelli to be valued by the club at which he plays", Mino Raiola told Italian broadcaster Rai.

"Only Milan can sell him and if they do not want him, they need to call me."

Raiola was also keen to play down suggestions he has been plotting a move to Arsenal for his client, dismissing talk of secret meetings with Wenger in Brazil, where the Frenchman is working at the World Cup for French broadcaster beIN Sports.

"I do not think there is a stronger striker in Italy than Balotelli.

"I have not been in Brazil during the World Cup and I have not met with manager Arsene Wenger."
