Filipe Luis is ready to reject an offer from Atletico Madrid to extend his contract, as he has his heart set on joining Chelsea.

The left-back is wanted by Jose Mourinho's men, who were impressed with his performances in La Liga and the Champions League last season.

However, the Blues are at present unwilling to meet Luis' termination clause of €24m, leaving the defender seeking to help smooth the move along.

According to Spanish daily Marca, Luis will reject a contract extension offer from Atletico Madrid and tell the club he wants to sign for Chelsea this summer.

The defender will also request that the Spanish champions sell him for an amount less than his buy-out clause.

It remains to be seen whether Los Rojiblancos will grant Luis' request, especially having lost Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois to Chelsea already this summer.

The 28-year-old Brazilian is under contract at the Vicente Calderon until 2017.
