Trabzonspor have made an official offer for Michael Essien to AC Milan, but the midfielder himself is not convinced about the move.

Essien arrived at Milan from Chelsea in January this year on a free transfer and still has one year left on his contract.

His performances at the San Siro have not been convincing and Milan are ready to offload the €3m per year midfielder this summer.

Trabzonspor are keen to take the midfielder to Turkey and have made an official offer to the Rossoneri.

However, Essien himself remains unconvinced about a move to the Turkish outfit and is exploring other options, according to Sport Mediaset.

He has earned 58 international caps for Ghana and played in the World Cup in Brazil where they crashed out in the first round.
