Turkish giants Besiktas have denied reaching an agreement with Chelsea to take striker Demba Ba and winger Marko Marin on one-year loan deals.

The Black Eagles have been linked with the Chelsea pair, with Ba having struggled for regular first team football at Stamford Bridge last term, while Marin spent the season on loan at Sevilla.

Each may not see their prospects improve over the course of next season, as Chelsea continue to strengthen.

But talk they are moving to Besiktas has been denied by the Istanbul club, with no agreement in place for the Chelsea stars.

"News that Demba Ba and Marko Marin are rented for one year from Chelsea Football Club is not true", read a statement carried by Eurosport Turkey.
