The agent of Ajax defender Daley Blind has insisted his client is all set to stay at the Amsterdam ArenA despite continuing chatter around a transfer following his performances for the Netherlands at the World Cup.

Blind has been mooted as a target for English giants Manchester United and Liverpool, while of late Italian outfit Inter have been credited with an interest.

The defender, who is the son of Ajax legend Danny Blind, operated as a left-wing-back and then as a defensive midfielder in Brazil, as the Netherlands finished third in the tournament.

But Rob Jansen, the player's agent, claims Ajax do not have to worry about losing Daley.

"Inter have never contacted us", Jansen told Calcio Mercato.

"Blind will just remain at Ajax", he added.

Jansen has been hard at work moving another client, with right-back Daryl Janmaat swapping Feyenoord for Newcastle United.

It appears unlikely Daley will join the Netherlands international in English football for 2014/15 however.
