Brazil forward Neymar has admitted that other countries have moved ahead of his nation, following the Selecao’s disastrous World Cup campaign.

The hosts of the 2014 World Cup finished fourth in the tournament after losing two back-to-back matches in the showpiece event.

Brazil, who were humiliated 7-1 by eventual winners Germany in the semi-finals, then succumbed to a 3-0 loss at the hands of the Netherlands in the third-place game.

And Neymar, who missed those matches due to a fractured vertebrae, did not pinpoint any particular reason for Brazil’s sudden crash at the World Cup.

However, the Barcelona star acknowledged the fact that Brazil have fallen behind other nations, especially behind Germany and Spain.
