The race for PSV Eindhoven starlet Zakaria Bakkali is hotting up, with Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt keen on securing his signature.

Bakkali is wanted by Liverpool, and PSV are keen to sell this summer, with the 18-year-old having just a single year left on his contract at the Philips Stadion.

The Eredivisie outfit have even reached an agreement over a transfer fee with one club, though they have remained unnamed.

It is not clear whether Eintracht Frankfurt are the side in question, but according to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, they are now firmly in the race for Bakkali.

There is also interest in the Belgian from Portuguese outfit FC Porto, as the scramble to secure a youngster long tipped for the top gathers pace.
