Italian defender Fabrizio Grillo is wanted by Leeds United and the player, who has just parted company with Siena, admits he has offers from England.

Siena have been suffering financial difficulty and following a finish of ninth in Serie B last term, Grillo is on the move as a free agent – and he has a number of clubs interested in securing his services.

The former Roma youth team player also has interest from within Italy, leaving his future up in the air. He is happy to be a wanted man however and feels one of the offers made will prove tough to refuse.

"I have offers from Italy, I'm glad because there are a couple of concrete ones in England too", the 27-year-old told Tutto Mercato.

"This offer is almost a must", the left-back added.

Grillo spent time on loan with Varese at the latter end of last season, but headed back to Siena at the end of the campaign, to find a club in continued financial turmoil.

"There has been mismanagement for many years", he admitted, "and the last year the Monte dei Paschi ended the relationship. Siena is living a nightmare and I'm sorry. It reflects the Italian economic situation."

The defender has had a spell outside Italy before, with time spent at Bulgarian giants CSKA Sofia.
