Zakaria Bakkali is not interested in joining Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt, something which has thrown the race for his signature wide open.

The 18-year-old's current club, PSV Eindhoven, are keen to cash in on him this summer, with Bakkali having just a further year left on his contract at the Philips Stadion.

He is being tracked by Liverpool and FC Porto, however PSV recently accepted an offer from an unnamed club for the Belgian.

That club is thought to have been Eintracht Frankfurt but, according to the Eindhovens Dagblad, Bakkali is not interested in moving to the Bundesliga outfit.

Liverpool lodged an enquiry with PSV last week and appear to be in pole position to scoop up Bakkali, if they can do a deal with the Dutch side.

PSV have left an offer to extend Bakkali's contract on the table, but the promising forward has still given no indication of whether he will sign it, much to the club's annoyance.

And so the most likely outcome is the starlet being sold in the current transfer window.
