Valencia have agreed to sell defender Jeremy Mathieu to Barcelona for €20m.
The Frenchman had been Barcelona's main choice for the left-back slot, but doing a deal with Valencia had proven difficult for the Catalan giants.
Now they have managed to thrash out a fee with Los Che though and the 30-year-old will sign a four-year contract at the Camp Nou, with an option for a further year.
Mathieu's release clause with Barcelona has been set at the €50m mark.
Valencia snapped up Mathieu from French outfit Toulouse in 2009, with the left-back instantly proving a popular figure at the Mestalla.

Mathieu made 32 appearances for Los Che last season in La Liga, scoring three goals and providing one assist.
The Frenchman, who has won two senior caps for France, also clocked up ten Europa League appearances in 2013/14.
