Cardiff City have accepted offers from both Crystal Palace and Leicester City for striker Fraizer Campbell, according to the BBC.

The Bluebirds were relegated from the Premier League last season and Campbell has a release clause of just £900,000 in his contract at the Championship club.

And that has alerted a number of clubs, with both Crystal Palace and Leicester slapping in official offers for the 26-year-old former Manchester United hitman.

Campbell found the back of the net nine times for Cardiff last term and joined the Welsh club in January 2013 from Sunderland.

The striker, who has won one senior cap for England, started his career in the youth ranks at Manchester United.

The Red Devils sent him out for loan spells with Royal Antwerp, Hull City and Tottenham Hotspur, in order to boost his first team football experience.

Manchester United then sold Campbell to Sunderland in 2009 for a fee of £3.5m, which had the potential to rise to around £6m.

He helped Cardiff win the Championship title in 2012/13.
