Fulham boss Felix Magath has snapped up countryman Thomas Eisfeld, capturing the midfielder from Arsenal.

The former Borussia Dortmund midfielder has left the Gunners for an undisclosed fee, penning a two-year contract with Fulham.

Arsenal signed Eisfeld from Dortmund in January 2012, with the midfielder arriving as a highly-rated youngster.

Eisfeld was quickly taken on the Arsenal senior side's pre-season tours of 2012 and 2013 and scored three goals in the process.

The 21-year-old made his senior Arsenal debut in the League Cup against Reading in 2012, a remarkable match which ended 7-5 to the Gunners.
