In-demand Bayern Munich winger Xherdan Shaqiri has admitted that Liverpool, Juventus and Monaco would all represent good options should he move from the Allianz Arena this summer.

The race for Shaqiri's signature is heating up as the start of the new campaign approaches, with Juventus the latest side to make a push towards capturing him.

They could face serious opposition however, with Liverpool and Monaco also strongly linked with the Switzerland international.

Shaqiri is currently on holiday, recovering from his efforts at the World Cup, which included a well-taken hat-trick to further boost his standing.

As such, he claims to have had no contact with his suitors, but has offered them encouragement he may look kindly upon an approach.

"I'm on holiday and I don't yet know what will happen, my future is for my brother [also Shaqiri’s agent, ed.]", he told Tuttosport.

"The only thing that is certain is I have a contract with Bayern Munich until 2016.

"We will see shortly.

"Juventus? I do not know if there is contact with the Bianconeri and I've not been informed of Liverpool and Monaco [contacts] either.

"Juve could definitely be a good option and the same goes for Liverpool and Monaco."

And the Swiss winger insists that were he to move to Juventus, he would not see it as a step backwards, offering further encouragement to the Italian champions.

"Juventus are a great club, who wouldn't like to play for them?

"I am at Bayern, but I would not see Juventus as a backwards step for my career."

Shaqiri has been unhappy with being overlooked for key games at Bayern Munich, suggesting it is a situation which cannot continue. The German champions though insist they are not planning to sell the 22-year-old.
