Real Madrid star Gareth Bale is of the opinion that La Liga’s ability to attract top players makes it the “most exciting” league in the world.

Los Blancos earlier in the week completed the signing of Colombia’s World Cup hero James Rodriguez, who won the Golden Boot in Brazil.

The youngster will join the likes of Bale, Cristiano Ronaldo and Toni Kroos amongst others at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Barcelona too have a superstar line-up at their disposal, the Catalan giants roped in Premier League’s top scorer Luis Suarez from Liverpool this summer to play alongside Neymar and Lionel Messi.

And Bale, who is thrilled with the plethora of talent plying their trade in Spain, also insisted that La Liga teams are always close to winning the Champions League, with his side lifting the trophy last season.
